Am I picking on Jonah Goldberg again? This time (in addition to some offering some marvellous apologetics) he notes correctly that radical (and indeed, mainstream) environmentalism is essentially religious, and, again correctly, that scientists are only human (which is why there is a Structure of Scientific Revolutions), but the better solution is to increase our reliance on the scientific method, and to shun those pseudo-scientists who actually subvert it, not to smear the scientific community as one more mere "community".
