Two interesting pieces in the Washington Post today. First, WP readers get a rare exposure to Econ 101. Peak usage pricing. What a concept. And Charles Krauthammer, an MD, returns to his roots this week with a sobering column. However a positive lesson may be drawn from his essay on the limitations of science (and medicine in particular). Because real science is never as dogmatic as pseudo-science, its errors can be identified and corrected more easily.
