I returned to DC this week, staying at my usual Hyatt.
For the first time ever, this Hyatt left me a bathrobe. On the bed, rather than in the closet on a hanger with the usual suggestion that robes are available for purchase in the gift shop. No problem getting a room, despite an early Cherry Blossom season. I had set an alarm (ugh) this morning for 0500, so I could make breakfast, do white laundry, complete packing, and make the 0651 Amtrak to DC without rushing. I guess since it was for a specific meeting (though not until 1100, right after a routine 1000 meeting), I wanted to arrive at our DC office around 0900. Good day for a walk to Thirtieth Street, but the weather looked increasingly damp as we went south, but just a soupy mist in the air.
