Quiet Christmas on Long Island.
My sis and her hubby joined my parents and me. The next day, we went to NY, and saw the Neapolitan Christmas Tree at the Metropolitan Museum, and an exhibit on Extreme Beauty; how fashion moulds the body. The Saks windows were disappointing to me (kinda like a precocious child's watercolours), but Lord and Taylor's lived up to expectations. The Rockefeller Centre Tree was also disappointing, but the refurbished (the clouds overhead were spectacular) main reading room in the public library was not. We tried to get to see the WTC, but we could not even get close.
